The right rear leg will consist of an end cap, a 6-inch pipe, a T, a close, and another T. This assemblage measures in at 12⅞ inches.
I want 35-inch-long legs {a 1-inch-thick board will put my workbench at 36 inches off the ground}. Mathematically, then, was have 35 - 12⅞ - ¼ {flange addition to length} = 22⅛ + ⅜ {loss of thread in T} = 22½ inches of pipe. Therefore, my custom-cut pipe list needs to include one 22½-inch pipe.
