Tool tips

A couple of tool tips if you decide to follow in my footsteps and build a plumbing pipe desk.

Get a combination square.  This tool will allow you to measure pipe assemblages, like this:
Try to find one that has a long ruler.  I discovered 12 inches is not long enough.

If you are going to do pipe through shelving, like I am, you will also need a hole bit for your electric drill.  There are two kinds of bits:  paddle and saw.  I prefer the saw bit because it should theoretically go through straighter.  The paddle bit could go out of alignment.

The pictures on the page appear smaller than they are.  To see them larger, simply double click on the picture.  Also, I always welcome your constructive criticism.  Click on the Comment link below next to the icon of a pencil; it may say "No" or have a number in front of it.
