Reed's Cherry Ginger Brew review

I was at Natural Grocers picking up hulled barley for my Victorian barley candy redaction when I came across an end-cap with a display for Reed's Cherry Ginger Brew.  Both cherry and ginger in a brew?  I was so there!  It was a bit non-frugal at $4.59 for a 4-pack of soda, but cherry and ginger in a brew.  After tasting it, it was even more of a non-frugal buy.

The taste reminded me of a combination of cherry cough syrup and soap.  Disappointed doesn't aptly describe my feelings about this product.  I am chapfallen.  I hate wasting food, so I am going to drink the remaining three, but I don't have to like it.
